Earthquake in Haiti Dominican Republic Today
The epicentre of the quake, which was initially reported a magnitude 7.3 is now being reported 7.0 off the coast, was located inland and close to the capital Port-au-Prince. The earthquake magnitude of 7.0 is the largest reported earthquake ever to hit the Island of Hati.
Latest live reports ( 8:15 PM Dominican Republic Time) on CNN state that there is great devastation is to PORT AU PRINCE, HAITI’S capital, where a multitude of buildings, homes and structures have collapsed and survivors are being dug from the wreckage.
Bavaro Punta Cana NO SIGNS of Earthquake noticed
In Bavaro - Punta Cana life is normal with no signs or any earthquake or unusual activity. Statements from citizens reflect sincere concern from the new news of catastrophe in Haiti but totally unaware.
